What is SEO?

Check Backlink

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) mean optimize you web page friendly with Search Engine. That's very easy to read buy very difficult to implement. You know how to optimize you page for Search Engine like?

I would like to share my experience over SEO. I create new website last 4 months about comparison service. I believe in my mind I would like visitor to get the best benefit as much as they can. So I try to find any products and compare with many shops. That's the point of this site. After it's done 60%-80% I submit many directories (some are good and some bad). As I remember around 1,200 directories. On that time I do not concern about bad site and good site I know only "Submit".

I use around a month with submit directory and later I change and update website to be the best. I have separate page for reciprocal link as well. After 3 months, I just check backlinks.

I try to learn about SEO technique from many forums site and found some technique to "Post Comment in Blog". I think this way is the best to generate backlinks. For blog comment I have some tips to find related site you can try phase below in Google.

site:.edu inurl:blog "post a comment" -"comments closed" -"you must be logged in" "any niche keyword"

site:.edu mean you select only.edu website. inurl:blog mean must has "blog" in domain "post a comment" mean specified to page can post comment -"comments closed" mean show result only active comment posted (Google Search Technique) -"you must be logged in" mean show result that do not need to register/login (Google Search Technique) "any niche keyword" mean you keyword related to your site

I try to comment many blog and yes I get some backlinks from their sites. But most of them "Nofollow" but don't be serious you still get backlinks except PR transfer. Don't worry.

Anyway, for submit directory I think I will be back to submit again but I need to select the quality link only. Most of quality link you need to reciprocal for sure. And the last one you MUST be concern is you content should be complete. You need to usually update your site (On page) to be friendly too.

I believe this is not my last article about SEO. I try to do many things for SEO and Traffic boost up. I will share my experience again if I can find something new on SEO Technique.

Oh No! My Web Site Dropped From Google

So you have been sitting on the first page of Google for some time now, and all of a sudden your page drops from out of nowhere. All of your traffic is down, no one can find your site, and you are worried that you have been banned forever.

Check Backlink

If this sounds like you, don't be alarmed, there are a few reasons why this may have happened. The first reason is simple, if you are building backlinks to your site right now, you are in the so called "Google Dance". By definition, the "Google Dance" is when your site quickly drops from the rankings, but you are still indexed in the search engines. This happens for a number of different reasons.

First, when you are building backlinks, Google will see your site has gaining popularity or spamming. Thus, they will drop your page in the SERPS in order to be sure that you are not just trying to get fast rankings. It's best to wait a few weeks, and you should see your site back up on top.

Another reason why your site may have dropped from the search engines is because Google has just made a change in their algorithm. If this is the case, you may have to be a little worried. If they have made a drastic change, there is a good chance that your site has been affected. Thus, your rankings will not come back without the proper structure and design that Google wants it to be.

In order to fix this, simply go go Google's help desk and ask them various questions on how you can improve their site. More times than not, you will be able to get your site back up and running again.

One Way Backlinks: Grow Your PR and Bring More Traffic to Your Website

Getting backlinks is very important for your website's SEO. It helps you grow your Page Rank (PR), and get more traffic through natural searches.

Check Backlink

Remember that any link that points to your site, can bring you visitors, so it's very important to have lots of links from other websites, link to yours.

Another reason why links are important is because, search engines use them to rank your page higher and bring you more visitors through natural searches.

So now, I'm going to talk about one way backlinks and the importance of getting them to bring more traffic to your website and grow your PR.

One way backlinks consist on having one website link to your website. That's it. They are not reciprocal backlinks. Only one site links to the other. And remember that backlinks are important for SEO? Well, search engines give more value to one way backlinks. They understand that if one website is linking to another, it's because they see value in it, so search engines see this too.

One way backlinks are hard to get, but you can get some of them by providing good content to your readers. Some of them will find your content valuable and will link to your site to share the information with others readers or customers. As you can guess, it's easier to get one way backlinks on blogs because they give more information to the readers and customers.

Now let's not forget about traffic and PR. They are both extremely important. If a site is linking to your site, you will get a portion of its PR and some of its traffic.

So let's say that a site with PR 5 links to yours. PR 5 means that that site gets a good amount of traffic though natural search. So you can expect a good portion of the traffic from that site, to jump to yours.

You will also get a portion of that site's PR, but it depends on how many links it has to other websites. Here is an example:

A network marketing blog has a PR 5 in its homepage, and has 10 links pointing to other network marketing sites. The PR is distributed among all 10 links, giving them a value of 0.5 to each link. This PR value will be added to the other network marketing sites, because it's a one way link. Therefore, if there is a network marketing site that has PR 2, linking only to your site, your site will increase 2 in PR.

Knowing this will help you get more quality backlinks, such as reciprocal links, three way links, four way links, etc. But don't worry, I'll talk about these types of links some other time.

But now, you can see the importance of link building for your network marketing site's SEO. More traffic can become more sales. But just as I mentioned before, one way backlinks are hard to get. So always make sure to:

Write original content that gives your readers quality information. Write content that solves your readers/customers problems. Do NOT post duplicate content. Search engines don't like it. Try to be consistent when posting content on your blog.

I will be talking more about link building on future posts, such as reciprocal links, three way links, four way links, etc.

Remember that link building is essential to growing your sites. Your blog can grow much more faster if you know how to apply these link building strategies to it. You can learn all of this with The Ultimate WordPress Guide.

Posting Links

There are some basic rules when posting links and most people break them purely by mistake, giving them poor results and lots of frustration.

Check Backlink

You find links everywhere, on all the social networking sites, on primary web sites, and in emails. There are links with no explanation about where they go and what the benefits of clicking on the link would be. They scare me. Have you ever clicked on a link and your anti-virus software screams out, "Warning!"? I have, so when I come upon a link that I do not trust I just do not click on it- ever.

So if you are someone who sends out links and you want a higher click through rate just follow these steps:

· Make sure the person you are asking to click on the link knows who you are. You do not have to include your resume, just some basics, and a picture or video will go a long way here. If you look and sound trustworthy you have radically increased your chances they will click your link.

· Tell them where the link will take them and what they will find there. Take away the fear of the unknown. Write out a description of what they will see, or tell them in a video. Remember, they want to know what benefit they can expect by investing their time, what will it do for them?

· Give your potential visitor an idea of how much time they are going to need to invest. If the link you are posting is sending them to an article, tell them how many words or pages the article is. If it is a video, tell them how many minutes it runs.

· If you are sending them to see something deep in your site, do not send them to your landing page and hope they can figure out how to find what they want. Give them a URL of the exact page you want them to see.

If you were to click on a link that promised you a review of the newest technical marvel from Apple and you wound up on their landing page and could not easily see how to get to the specific info you want, what would you do? Leave? Since you do not want your visitor to leave, send them a link to exactly what they want to see- one click and you take them right there!

· If you are in the habit of using URL shorteners, and there are many free services just a search away, do not overuse them. If that internal page on your site has a URL a mile long that looks intimidating in print, shorten it. If you send out a tweet, shorten it if you can not get your message out because the full URL is too long. But if you have a URL that is very descriptive like MakeGobsofMoney.com or PhilStoneIsaGreatGuy.com, try to use the full URL as the link you post- even on Twitter.

These tips on posting links are so simple you would expect never to need to write them out, but people are making mistakes with the way they are posting links everywhere.

How to Build Automated Backlinks - Get One Way Links on Autopilot

Almost every webmaster knows the best way to propel your website to the top of the search engine results is by getting backlinks. Not just any back links but relevant and high authority back links from other sites in your niche.

Check Backlink

However, it isn't always easy. A couple of years ago, link exchange networks where webmasters will exchange link among their websites was common and it work for a while. However, today, reciprocal linking is nowhere as effective as one way back links.

There are many ways to get one way links. The usual ways include requesting a link from another website though this method is highly inefficient and most webmasters don't link out very often since it leaks page rank.

Other methods to gain one way back links include:

1. Article marketing

Posting an article to hundreds of article directories with your resource box and URL is certainly one of the best ways to gain one way back links.

2. Directory Submission

Another common way is to submit to hundreds and thousands of directory websites.

3. Social Bookmarking

There are hundreds of web 2.0 sites where you can bookmark your own site to get back links.

From my experience, these methods are not as effective as getting back links from related websites and blogs in your niche.

The best way to get quality back links is getting a back link on another website with the keyword phrase you want as the anchor text.

Although it might seem impossible, there is a way to automated this step so you can get hundreds of such one way back links. Even better, they are dripped fed so the back links accumulate over time. The best part is it takes only about 10 minutes to set up and you can leave it alone to grow back links on autopilot.

If you are interested to build one way links on autopilot, I recommend you check out this site. Learn how you can start building automated one way back links easily in less than 10 minutes.

How to Get a Better Website Position With Backlinks

Many people ask about backlinks and how to make it so they could make a great impact on their website. As a beginner in internet business, you may often hear that backlinks can make your website appear in the top positions in search results. With backlinks, you can put your website on a profitable position in order to get maximum traffic.

Check Backlink

Backlink is required for you who want free traffic without paying methods such as advertisements on many search engine websites. If you want free traffic, you can try to make your website included in search results on keywords that have many searchers. Make your website appear on the first page of search engines is not easy, especially if the keywords you target will have many searchers. Many searches on a keyword will be increasingly difficult to obtain high rankings in search results.

Targeting keywords that have fewer search would be easier than the keywords that have many searchers. Sometimes we find a keyword that has many searchers with little competition and such keywords can be found if you dig deeper. Use your keywords as anchor text in order to get ranked on search engines from keywords that you target. The more backlinks your site has the better because you will get more visitors and can make your website to gain high rankings. You may be able to create your website in the first page of search results, but if you do not add backlinks, your site's position may be down or may disappear from the list of search engine index.

What is Backlinking?

Backlinking is the process of creating links to your website. Each link means that someone is trying to inform others about some interesting page he has found. Therefore, the number of links is a measure of popularity or reputation of the page. The number and quality on backlinks is the basis of the PageRank algorithm used by Google web search. Google is by far the most popular and widely used search engine. The main reason for this popularity is the fact that it returns relevant results for every possible search phrase. Because of this many webmasters are trying to get as many backlinks as possible.

Check Backlink

You can get backlinks on blogs, forums, Web 2.0 sites, website directories, articles or websites of other users. The easiest way to get a backlink is to have some useful content on the website and other users will find it and create a link to your page. This is called natural linking. Other methods mean using blogs and forums where you can participate in discussions and with some caution you can also promote your website. Most forums provide a feature called user signature. This is a short text where you can describe yourself or list your websites. Most blogs also provide place with every post where you can put url of your website. There is only one rule that needs to be respected. Never spam blogs or forums. Be useful and contribute to the discussion. Try to answer some question or offer help to other users. This way it will be much easier to promote your website.

There are two types of backlinks. Some are labeled with the "nofollow" attribute, others don't have it. This attribute tells Google and some other search engines not to follow this link and such links also do not contribute to the PageRank of the target page. You will find that most links on blogs are nofollow. The best approach is to ignore fact this and simply create backlinks wherever there is an opportunity.

Another important property of every link is the PageRank of the page where the link is located. The higher the PageRank the more the link is worth. This means that you should invest some time to find pages with high PageRank where you can promote your website and create backlinks.

There are many different backlinking strategies. Some internet marketers only use blogs and forums, other use article marketing exclusively. The best approach is to try all of them and then decide which method is best for you.

Get Your Site on the First Page of Google

If you want to Drive Traffic to your Website or Blog, the #1 question to ask yourself is How to Get on the First Page of Google. This is the your most important problem to solve...if you are not on the first page of Google, chances are high that your site will never be seen or generate any real traffic...

Check Backlink

One of the best ways to do this is to leverage Authority Sites such as YouTube, Squidoo, EzineArticles, Buzzle, Articlesbase, & Hub Pages. Authority Sites always win, then backlinks from other sites are the next best thing. Backlinks are like votes, the more the better. Post your content on Authority Sites & link them back to the same article on your site.

Quality & Quantity both count. One page that ranks on Google's first page equals roughly 1 lead per day.

The goal is to have your article on the first page of Google so people looking for that topic can find it, click it, read it, then opt-in to your site. As long as your site has other good content, it's likely the person that opted-in will come back for more. When they're on your site & if they also opt-in to a lead capture page of some type, follow up with an email or phone call.

The types of articles that work best are either product reviews or problem/solution type, because everyone has problems that they want solved. Company reviews also work very well because most people will do research on a company to validate their decision about that company or before working with that company.

You'll have to do some keyword research if you want to get on the first page of Google, by using Google's keyword tool, there are other tools, but this is a good start.

You'll be looking for keywords that rank on Authority Sites, like the ones mentioned above. When using the Google tool, set the Match Type to exact, then type in your phrase, you're looking for Local Monthly Searches that are greater than 100. When you find one, then put that keyword phrase in a normal Google search window, enclose it in quotes & make sure you are not logged into Google, this will give you a better search result.

You're looking for Authority Sites, when you find one, write your own article, submit it to Authority Sites...if you also submit your articles to other article sites, those articles should have a link pointing to the article on one of the Authority Sites, which will help your article rank higher. This is not the only strategy for ranking high on Google, but it's a good start & you'll have an edge against others competing for the first page of Google.

The strategies and methods for getting ranked high on the search engines can change, this will have an effect on the page ranking for your articles. Also the new Google +1 tool now plays an important role in your search engine ranking.

Your articles should be roughly 500 words. Use the keyword phrase 3-4 times throughout the article, don't overdue it, otherwise it will not be as effective. When your article is finished, submit it to the applicable Authority Sites and make sure the article has a link back to the same article on your site.

The solution is fairly simple; the version of your article that you submit to the other article directories has links that point to the Authority Sites, the Authority Sites then point to the original article on your website or blog. This strategy creates lots of link-juice to your site, which ultimately helps rank it higher.

Although it is extremely tempting to take the shortcut and use black hat methods it is recommended not to use this method to get listed in Google. Google is a smart website that will most likely catch these devious methods in a few days and once your website gets black listed you may be permanently banned from being listed in search engines.

If you often wonder how to make a website appear on Google then you should consider using the help of backlinks to promote your site.

My First Website - Promotion

Most website owners are familiar with search engine optimization and they know the importance of backlinks. Off-page SEO is important to get on the top of search results. The SEO activities are usually focused on opportunities to get as many backlinks as possible. However, website promotion is more than just getting backlinks. It is about introducing solutions to the world.

Check Backlink

Getting backlinks to increase page authority is usually much simpler than raising awareness about the solutions you provide on your website. The purpose of promotion is to describe problems people have and direct them to your site where you provide solutions for these problems. There are many ways where you can write about almost any topic and usually such places also provide an opportunity to include backlinks to your site.

One of the most popular methods to promote products, services or websites is article marketing. You can write short articles (about 400 words) about popular topics related to solutions on your site. Such articles can be published at many article directories. You only need to take care about few directory rules that must be respected. If you carefully select article title and optimize the article for few relevant keywords it may happen that this article will be present in search results for these keywords. This means that people searching for a solution may end reading your article which will propose a solution that can be found at your website.

Another possibility is to write and publish press releases. This is a special article that addresses one product or particular set of problems and solutions. Usually you create press releases after the launch of a new product or service, but you can use them also at other opportunities.

A very popular method for website promotion is by using sites like Twitter and Facebook. At Twitter you can get followers that are interested in your tweets and Facebook is an excellent platform to create fan groups where you can promote your website and products. Another popular method for promotion is to use supporting blogs where you can discuss various topics.

In any case you should not focus only on backlinks--quality articles about problems people have are a very effective way to bring visitors to your site. Having optimized pages is important to get free traffic from search engines. However, equally important is to have information about the website at relevant places to get visitors that need solutions you provide.

4 Ways to Get Free Quality Back Links

Search engine optimization is becoming harder and harder as more and more people enter the mega-niche of internet marketing. As more competition compete for rankings for the same keywords and phrases, there are sure to be harder times ahead for webmasters looking for easy and Free SEO Methods. Here are 4 quick ways to get Free backlinks to your pages:

Check Backlink

#1 Forum Participation
Never post at a forum just so you can get your signature link up. This will get you banned and also looked down to. Instead, at the forums you already participate at, add a signature with a few links in it. This will provide both traffic, and if the forum is "do-follow" page rank to help with your rankings.

#2 Article Marketing
In fact, that's what I'm doing right now. Writing an article with the main purpose of getting back links to pages I want linked to. Article marketing will get you bank links as well as direct traffic. I usually only submit to the main article sites such as EzineArticles.

#3 Blog Comments
Just like with forums, don't go overboard so that you are only posting comments at blogs in order to get back links. When you comment at a blog, you can usually enter your name and a url in the fields provided. If the blog is "do-follow" then you have an instant back link to your site that will help in your SEO efforts.

#4 Guest Blogging
Offer to write free blog articles for various blog owners. In exchange ask them if you can have a link placed to one of your sites within the blog post itself. Many blog owners are always looking for interesting posts from outside readers, so it can work like a charm, especially if that blog is ranking high itself in the search engines.

Remember, when developing back links, be creative, and think outside the box. Patience is key, and never overdo it, or the search engines may notice and lower your rank.

How Do I Get My Website Posted on a Search Engine? - An Introduction to SEO

The current economic climate has changed many human goals and dreams. Many years ago our greatest dream was to own our own home, the focus now is for long-term financial security. People are disillusioned with working like slaves, struggling to make ends meet while company CEO's and shareholders reap the benefits of their hard work. Many people are turning to the internet as an additional or alternative source of income which they can pursue from the comfort of their own home by providing products and services to a worldwide market. A common question for those who create their own website is, 'How do I get my website posted on a search engine?'

Check Backlink

The fact is that the majority of websites listed in search engines have never been manually submitted. Rather, they have been found by search engines.

So how do search engines find new websites. There are two main ways that new websites are found. Firstly, there are many sites that search engines regularly search for new content. Major search engines love sites that are regularly updated with new content like blogger and WordPress. They also love article repositories like EzineArticles, and social media sites like digg, technorati and stumbleupon. These sites are indexed daily, sometimes several times per day. But if your site is privately hosted then you need to do something to point the search engines towards your website, which leads us to the second way that search engines find websites. The second way that search engines find websites is through external links to the site (ie. backlinks). When a search engine is aware of a site it regularly sends data collection robots to the site to check backlinks on related sites - The reason I suggest creating backlinks on related websites is because those links count toward Google pagerank. While having a Google pagerank doesn't improve your position in search results it will improve the reputation of your website which means that visitors will view it in a more favourable light. Many webmasters find they receive a dramatic increase in orders after attaining a Google pagerank. A brilliant tool for finding related websites where you can leave comments and backlinks is found at http://www.webconfs.com/backlink-builder.php Just enter your keywords and the tool will find related sites. Submit the site to online bookmarking services such as technorati, digg, stumbleupon or delicious. There are even tools that you can add to your site that will allow your visitors to do this for you. My personal favorite is found at http://www.addthis.com Of course, the more your visitors categorize and bookmark your site the more quality backlinks you will receive.

However, having your site indexed by search engines is only the first step in receiving traffic. Statistically speaking, only about 10% of searchers go beyond the first two pages of search results so if your listing happens to be on page 3 then very few searchers will ever find it. This is where SEO or search engine optimization becomes a factor. While many people new to internet marketing feel somewhat daunted by this term, there are actually many relatively simple ways that will improve your position in search results to where they will be noticed by searchers.

Who's REALLY Linking To Me?

It's common knowledge in the webmaster world that Google is not (and has not for quite some time) accurately reporting how many "backlinks" or how many sites are linking back to your site. There are probably many reasons for that, but that rant can be saved for another article.

Check Backlink

So how can a website owner effectively find out who is linking back to them if Google is being "tight lipped"?

Use Yahoo.

Yahoo has been proven to show a more reliable report on who is linking to your site.

Here is what you need to do on your next visit to Yahoo:

Type this into the search box: link:http://www.mysite.com (make sure you replace "mysite" with your actual domain name)

This search command will show you ALL the pages that are linking to your site, including your own pages. If you do not want your own links being reported in your search, then type this instead: link:http://www.mysite.com -site:www.mysite.com

This will tell Yahoo to search for ALL links pointing back to your website MINUS your own links.

If you are curious to see how many links are pointing to a specific page, then type in this: link:[http://www.mysite.com/pagename.html] (make sure you replace "pagename" with your actual page name).

Just like in the previous example, you can filter out or omit your own links from the search by add the -site:www.mysite.com command to the end of your search string.

Another search you can do is a search for all links pointing to each and every page on your entire domain by typing this: linkdomain:www.mysite.com This is a quick way to get a broad overview of your backlink structure.

Not too difficult, eh? Hope that helps. Good Luck!

Top Five Ways Revealed: How to Increase Your Page Ranking for Your Blog

There are many ways to increase your page ranking for your blog. Five of the most important ways are listed here. In addition to just listing these methods you will also learn a few ways to implement them.

Check Backlink

Probably the method most talked about is using keywords. For organic results with search engines that is very important. However, targeting the top keywords is unlikely to move you up the ranks. For most subjects there is too much competition on those words, so you need to use a keyword tool to find words that are less competitive and are searched less. For example, if you were blogging about makeup, you might want to consider "long tail" keywords like "makeup for women over 40" which is much less competitive than the generic "makeup."

A second way of climbing the ranks is through backlinks to your blog. Gaining backlinks can be done by commenting on other blogs and websites and leaving contact information in the forms. Make sure the comments are not generic and that they show you actually read the blog post. "Great article. I'll be sure to bookmark your site and subscribe to your RSS feed" may sound nice, but it is sure to be deleted as spam, even if it happens to be true.

Next you want to think about your blog's content. How much do you have? The more relevant content you have the higher you will be ranked, generally speaking. A site with ten pages will not rank as high as a site with one hundred pages. Keep adding content on a regular basis. If you don't have time to write that many posts consider hiring a ghostwriter to get you content. Make sure you read any content you get from them to make sure it isn't just keywords and crap. You always want quality over quantity and don't be afraid to pay a little more for that. You get what you pay for.

Fourthly, use key phrases within your content. I spoke about long tail keywords - phrases are just an extension of those. Group your keywords and phrases closely together to get even more attention by the spiders that crawl the web. Use keywords tools to find phrases that people are searching for. This will definitely impact your Google ranking and help you with marketing your blog.

Lastly, make sure you don't over-pack your articles with keywords and phrases. A good percentage of keywords is somewhere between two and eight percent. More than eight percent also makes your content "read funny" and will likely discourage return visitors. People recognize quality content and avoid blogs that obviously are stuffed with keywords.

Here's a sixth thing to think about (consider this a bonus.) Think about your target audience the whole time you are writing. If you are looking to attract a younger crowd your vocabulary and keyword content might be more techie or fresh, while an older audience might use more traditional word choices.

A quick recap - use long-tail keywords, get back links, add content on a regular basis, use "key phrases" in addition to key words, keep those items between two and eight percent of the article and aim your content at a particular audience. Following these suggestions you are very likely to increase your page ranking for your blog.

Achieving High Quality Backlinks For Your Website

Most individuals seem to think that all they need to do is to get a website and then immediately website traffic will start herding its way towards their site in droves, with them making a small fortune along the way. Unfortunately, this just won't happen. They may have built a really outstanding website, but with nobody visiting it.

Check Backlink

However, there are ways in which you can achieve a substantial amount of traffic! You need to have a site that has good quality content within the pages and also that the backlinks you get are high quality ones. It is these high quality backlinks that will help to boost your website traffic and in turn, this will make your page rank with the search engines increase. This will bring you a higher position when people search via the search engines. The higher you are, which hopefully may be in the top 10 on the first page, then the more organic traffic you site will receive. The main thing to remember is that everything centres upon having a large number of backlinks that point straight at your website. To put it in simple terms, each backlink you have is like having a vote for your site - the more you can achieve, then the more popular your website will be. So, what are the best methods to use to achieve the best backlinks?

To start yourself off, try article writing for your website. This is an efficient long term approach that will help to accumulate backlinks over a period of time, particularly if you work at it consistently each day. The best way is to write an article of between, say, 450 and 650 words, adding a link to your website at the bottom of the article, or in the resource box. You must write continually over a period of time in order to achieve the sort of success with the article writing you need to make your site a winner. A fairly short article should only need around half an hour to compose and then a few minutes to spin. If you work hard, you should be able to produce a few articles a day. If you can keep this up for several months, you will most definitely see the results!

Bear in mind, however, this is not a quick fix, but more of a long term approach, so you need to be tolerant. If you show consistency, then you will be rewarded with the results you deserve.

Producing a blog is yet another method for the creation of quality backlinks to your site. You should link between the pages of your website and your blog time and time again, again ensuring you are consistent and try to do this each day. Once again, you will ultimately see the results. Blogging is something that should be an ongoing process. If you don't want to keep it up, then don't start. It is not the same as producing a website and then having a completed process. If you keep your blog up to date, then the search engines will give you a high rank.

The blogs and articles you write together will achieve good results and therefore help you to make money. Remember the higher your page rank, the more traffic will come to your website and the more money you will make.

Submitting your website to directory website is useful, but you should not spam or use any software, just submit your website to top directory websites, or your will be punished by search engines. How To Choose A Good Free Article Directory

Submitting your writings to a free article directory can help boost the popularity of your website. Like other SEO techniques, it may not work instantly. However, it is an effective yet affordable way to build backlinks. Besides writing good articles, you should also choose the best directory. There are plenty of free article directories all over the internet where you can have your writings published, but not all of them are reliable and trustworthy. Below are some tips on how to choose a good free article directory:

Check Backlink

1. Choose one with more authority and wider audience

Some sites are indeed better than the other. If you want to get your business noticed by many people, choose one that has more authority and wider audience. Authority is very significant in backlink building. While all article directories allow you to attach your bio and some links to your site, the ones with bigger authority will point more valuable backlinks to your site.

2. The higher the ranking, the better

As mentioned previously, authority is essential. The authority of an article directory can be measured by its search engine ranking. You should go for the one with a high ranking. In most cases, the higher the ranking, the bigger the authority.

3. Look for a free directory that has a comprehensive list of websites

Some directories only publish articles or blogs. But there are also comprehensive article directories which also feature a list of article announcements, list of publishers, as well as niche-focused blogs.

4. Have access to the site where you submit your writings

Having access to your preferred directory means that you will be able to know whether it is active, whether it has frequent visitors, whether it has busy traffic, whether it has a high search engine ranking, and so forth. That way, you will be able to judge the credibility of the directory you have chosen.

5. How long does it take to publish the article?

While some directories will instantly publish your article, some other can take up to 2 weeks for the article approval. Finding out how long it takes for article publication is important, especially if you write about trending and fresh topic.

6. Examine the effectiveness of the directory

Following your article publication, check the article's statistic which includes page views, SERP results, click through rate, and the number of syndicated articles. If after a while the statistic does not improve, you might consider changing to other article directory.

Video Optimization - Video Marketing Tutorial

You probably have heard about youtube.com. You can get a large amount of traffic from video sites if you will use them properly. In this video marketing tutorial I will show you how to do a proper video optimization to get maximum amount of views. I will also share you several secrets about video marketing.

Check Backlink

I recommend to create short how-to videos from your articles which you have already written, by making PowerPoint presentations and then discusing main points of your articles.

Include your keyword in the title. If your selected keyword isn't very long, use it twice in the title. I found that this helps to rank your video a little bit higher. You shouldn't forget this video optimization tip!

Create a video description. Optimize your description with your choosen keyword. You can even post a whole article in the description (yeah, that's another cool video optimization advice and you will find even better video marketing tutorial advice below!)

Include your website URL at the very beginning of your description. Use http:// format to make it clickable. You should also include your link at the beginning and end of your video. Use a watermark URL in the video at the bottom of the screen through the duration of the video.

To improve your video optimization, include a call to action at the end of the video if you want to get maximum amount of traffic from your videos.

Submit your videos to the best RSS aggregators and directories:

Feedagg.com

Feedage.com

Search for Google to find more RSS directories.

A lot of people don't do that and by that way they are missing a large amount of traffic (so they don't use every opportunity to make their video optimization better!). This will also will give you some valuable backlinks.

Your Youtube.com RSS feed looks like this:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/rss/user/">http://www.youtube.com/rss/user/</A> [insert username here]/videos.rss

You can boost your video views by implementing a simple video optimization trick. Find other people related videos and then just simply copy their tags. This will give a good chance that your video will appear in the related videos sidebar.

If you have a web site or a blog create a video series and then split them into several parts. Put your videos in your web site. After every video give make slide which says something like that:

"Watch next part at <a href="http://www.yourdomain.com/adsvds">http://www.yourdomain.com/adsvds</A>

This will give you extra traffic to your web site.

Use tubemogul.com to submit your videos to 20+ video sharing sites.

The best video optimization advice that I can give you at the moment:

Use articlevideorobot.com to create videos fast from your articles. It is very easy to use and they have some valuable video marketing tutorial tips. (you can register as a free member to test it. If you want to buy it use 0E2A8D2C coupon code and get 25% discount). It is a very powerful tool and I definitely recommend to check backlinks for higher search engines ranking.

For technical video optimization I use these softwares to produce my videos:

Camtasia (free alternative - Cam studio)

Soveig avi trimmer

Flv producer lite

I hope that this video marketing tutorial will help in the future to make your video optimization much more better!

How To Get People To Read Your Blog - Traffic Building Strategies

Today, I'm going to cover a few topics on how to get traffic to your website. This isn't an all end guide on how to get traffic to your website, but it should help a fairly new website help build up their traffic. Before you start looking to build traffic make sure you have some type of traffic tracking software installed on your host. I personally use Google Analytics and I use Host Gator for hosting. This site is hosted through Host Gator on the Baby Package. Okay, so you already have your site up and running and you are literally seeing no traffic coming to your website. You spent thousands of hours writing unique content or outsourcing article writing to people so you know for a fact that your content is unique. First you have to ask yourself this. Why would someone want to read my articles? Do they provide a ton of value to my visitors? If they don't then you might want to look over what you have published and working on making your content more interesting and valuable to your readers. Secondly, is your website just promoting products that you are making commissions or did you actually put honestly, integrity, and heart into your articles. If you don't believe in what you have to say then why should anybody else?

Check Backlink

Once you have those questions covered, and you know that your content is unique and valuable and you still aren't getting any traffic then you need to start optimizing your website for search engines, commonly referred to as search engine optimization. Optimizing your sites to appeal to search engines such as Google and Yahoo will bolster your publicity of your site to the world ten-fold. Open up Google's Keyword Tool and just start typing in keywords that are highly relevant to your site. If your site is about review hair salon products then type in keywords such as hair salon products, hair salon reviews, hair salon product review and the list goes on. Enter the captcha and click the grey search button. Google will find a list of keywords that are related to the keywords you just typed in. Google will show you which keywords get the most and least traffic and what the competition level is for these keywords to rank for. If Google gives you a list that is too small then click the check box on the left of the word keyword and click the button More Like These and click Selected. Google will find more keywords related to your keywords. Once you have your list of keywords, click the phrase checkbox in the left hand corner of your screen. What this does is give you the traffic numbers of those exact keywords not the broad traffic numbers. You always want to use exact match to see exactly how many people are typing in your keywords on a monthly basis.

Sort through the keywords and copy and paste the keywords that have a respectable search volume of about 5,000 exact match volume or less. These are the keywords you want to target in your articles. Even copy the keywords that have a search volume of 100 monthly because these keywords will generally be alot easier for you to rank number one in Google for.

Okay, so you have your list of keywords, now you need to optimize your titles, content, and URLs for your articles. If you want to rank for the keyword Hair Salon Products in Google. The title of your post should be "The Top 10 Hair Salon Products In The World." You want to make your article catchy and to entice readers to go ahead and read your article. Also you want to mention the exact keyword atleast once in the beginning of your first paragraph, if you can. Then mention it another one to times in your article, possible once more in the second paragraph and then in the last paragraph. You want your keyword to be mentioned roughly 2% of your article.

Now to optimize your URL, you want the URL name to be the title of your post. If you are using Wordpress, log into your Wordpress Dashboard and click on the permalinks button under settings. Click the circle under Custom Structure and type in /%postname%/ and click save changes. What this will do will make your end URL the same as the post title you type into Wordpress. It amazes me how many websites don't optimize their URLs for their keywords. Once you complete these steps your articles will be optimized to rank for their respective keywords in Google.
